Caroline Watson is Founder and Chief Executive of Scheherazade Foundation and is a Young Global Leader 2011 of the World Economic Forum.
Caroline has over 10 years of experience in leading and facilitating workshops and training courses in both the corporate sector and non-profit, across China, India and Europe. Past clients include the Forum for Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum, Nike, Goldman Sachs, Citibank, Orange and UNESCO, among others. In advising companies on their Asia strategy, she brings to her work a unique understanding of all levels of contemporary Chinese and Asian society.
Caroline was born and raised in Hong Kong, has lived in Asia for over 20 years and speaks Mandarin. Her grandfather, Dennis Constantine, was the director of Anthony Buckley and Constantine, a portrait photography studio whose clients included Hong Kong and Asian business, political and cultural elite in the 1980s and ’90s.
She is also the founder of Hua Dan, a China-based enterprise using theatre as a tool for personal and social transformation in the migrant worker community.
She holds a Bachelors degree in Theatre Studies from Lancaster University, UK. She is also an alumni of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government ‘Global Leadership and Public Policy in the 21st Century‘ programme, and an INSEAD ISEP Alumni.
